Other Names | Serrate RNA effector molecule homolog, Arsenite-resistance protein 2, srrt, ars2 |
Target/Specificity | This DANRE srrt antibody is generated from a rabbit immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 733-766 amino acids from DANRE srrt. |
Dilution | WB~~1:2000 |
Format | Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification. |
Storage | Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles. |
Precautions | (DANRE) srrt Antibody (C-Term) is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. |
Name | srrt |
---|---|
Synonyms | ars2 |
Function | Acts as a mediator between the cap-binding complex (CBC) and the primary microRNAs (miRNAs) processing machinery during cell proliferation. Contributes to the stability and delivery of capped primary miRNA transcripts to the primary miRNA processing complex, thereby playing a role in RNA-mediated gene silencing (RNAi) by miRNAs (By similarity). Independently of its activity on miRNAs, necessary and sufficient to promote neural stem cell self-renewal. Does so by directly binding SOX2 promoter and positively regulating its transcription (By similarity). |
Cellular Location | Nucleus, nucleoplasm. Cytoplasm. Note=Predominantly nuclear. Shuttles between the nucleus and the cytoplasm (By similarity). |
